Why Join the ADTA?
The American Dental Therapy Association is a member-based organization that supports the existing workforce of dental therapists, and contributes to the growth and expansion of dental therapy in the United States. A national 501(c)3 organization, the American Dental Therapy Association advocates, educates and provides opportunities to connect with dental therapists nationwide. Dental therapists play a critical role in oral health care teams by increasing access to care in underserved urban and rural communities. As an oral healthcare provider, dental therapists work under the supervision of a dentist and fill gaps within existing dental care team settings. The American Dental Therapy Association welcomes individuals and organizations interested in advancing dental therapy to join as a member. Working together will increase access to care, reduce cavities and oral health diseases, and improve overall health for Americans!
